MAS Security Agency was created to provide clients with a professionally trained staff that caters to specific needs. After years of seeing untrained, unprofessional security, owners Scott Oshan and Kris Millar decided to create a security company that would actually improve upon the standards and quality of security, with a dedicated focus on customer service.

The MAS security staff is trained in crowd control and conflict resolution for all events no matter how large or variant. MAS Security officers are culturally diverse and are rigorously trained for a wide variety of security scenarios. All MAS Security officers are licensed with the state of Texas, and have undergone thorough screening, which includes a physical examination, police background investigation, and drug testing.
MAS uses many ex-police officers and active police officers to conduct training and assist with special events. MAS also offers Personal Protection Officers for anyone who feels the need for additional security.
Kris Millar |
Kris Millar has worked in the corporate security industry for 9 years and has worked with computer security for the past 12 years. He grew up in Austin and was educated locally through high school and traveled out of state to attend college. He received a BA in Speech Communications as well as a BA in Psychology. Kris has also trained to be a private pilot and enjoys flying when he has the time. In the late 1990’s he successfully managed a small business with a partner in the downtown Round Rock area. Living in Austin for most of his life Kris has seen the city grow and has become an active member of the community. He understands the needs that surround the Live Music Capital of the world and atmosphere that is Austin. He understands that Austinites want to enjoy what the city has to offer and they want to feel safe wherever they may go. In light of recent events it has become necessary to assure the safety of the community by offering establishments professional and well trained personnel. Kris brings this to the table with MAS Security and provides the customer a level of comfort that has not previously been available. MAS allows the customer to feel safe with the security provided and takes care of the training and management of security personnel. This allows you to concentrate more on the business aspects and management of the venue, event or club. Security has become an integral part of our lives and we see it everyday. MAS brings the professionalism and training needed to assure the safety of our citizens.

Scott Oshan |
Scott Oshan comes to Central Texas via New York with over twenty years of corporate & high profile security experience, and he's also a licensed Security Consultant in the state of Texas. Scott developed and trained an elite security staff in NYC for Fortune 500 events which focused on specialized needs and corporate security etiquette. He also developed a security task force designed for high profile events and celebrity functions. In addition he created the CLUBSAFE NY & CLUBSAFE TX training program for door staff at Restaurants, Bars & Nightclubs. Scott has been decorated by the Mayors office in NYC for assisting during 9/11 rescue efforts and has received commendations from the Austin Police Dept.
